Getronics UK links up with VirtualSignature to embed advanced eSignature and onboarding technology into its portfolio of IT solutions

New partnership will support current shifts in the market away from basic eSignatures towards a more compliant and verifiable solution.

Getronics, the global IT services integrator, has today announced a new partnership with VirtualSignature, the cloud–based eSignature exchange, document management, and digital onboarding platform.

To support customers in digitising their workflows end-to-end, the collaboration will reflect the current shift in the market from simplistic eSignatures towards more authenticated and encrypted eSignatures combined with enhanced fillable form capability and reliable identity verification.

Today, businesses are faced with increased compliance and regulatory controls. These add extra steps and paperwork to their internal processes, such as onboarding, contracting, and approvals. VirtualSignature’s technology enables companies to digitise these processes to improve overall efficiencies significantly, enable better management control, and offer existing and potential customers a seamless journey, engaging and retaining them more effectively.

Through this partnership, Getronics embeds VirtualSignature’s technology into its wide portfolio of IT solutions to offer a host of services, from secure, compliant and affordable applications for improving digital workflows, to full-blown workplace solutions that integrate with customers’ IT environments, such as their own CRMs and document management systems.

Legal, accountancy, local government, real estate, and recruitment organisations are examples of customers who can benefit from this solution, adding the layer of automation, security, and compliance they require.

David Kern, CEO at VirtualSignature, comments: “At VirtualSignature, we work with professional organisations to provide advanced onboarding solutions that help them engage with customers faster, in a secure and legally compliant digital environment. Our core applications (SmartSign, SmartCheck, SmartLink and SmartForms) are modular and accessible via API to integrate with platform service providers or via direct login to the platform, offering tailor-made solutions that will fit our clients’ specific requirements and simplify their processes as they no longer have the need to use different providers for each step of the onboarding journey. In addition, through Microsoft O365, we offer an Add-In for Word giving direct access to our portal for clients to create “signature ready” documents directly from their desktop.

“Now, thanks to Getronics, we are able to extend this solution to a larger customer base, leveraging Getronics global presence and wide portfolio of customers across different industries, including prestigious legal firms and financial institutions.”

Wesley Bowen, Regional Managing Director at Getronics UK, adds: “As an IT integrator we are constantly looking for best-in-class technologies available in the market. We see great potential in VirtualSignature’s proposition as it aligns with our customers’ demands for process automation, and the overall digital transformation of their business.

“With several projects in the pipeline, we are already looking at further integrations with ERP applications such as our customers’ Salesforce, SAP and ServiceNow.”
